This apartment was another dated unit in a 27 year old building next to Stanley Park. A wall was removed in order to create a contemporary open kitchen. Since this was a rental unit, budget was key.
The finishes and the lighting played important roles in making this space light and spacious. Taupe glass subway tiles were used on the backsplash to compliment the beautiful fantasy brown granite countertops.
The lighted dropped ceiling over the cooktop and recessed hood fan all contributed into making this kitchen spacious and functional.
The structural column in the dining area was clad in a fine luminescent glass mosaic.
